Our second collection of bed quilts and cushions; replete with roses and berries and debuted in the rooms to match at the new Samiti One apartment in Jaipur.
Rosanna's drawing of roses and strawberries was carved into six wooden blocks, one for each layer of colour. Each must be perfectly aligned with astounding precision - the quiet mastery that defines Jaipur’s block printers. Hand printed, hand stitched - nothing in these quilts is rushed.
These quilts and cushions are fully reversible, the back features the Roses & Berries print while the front is a full bouquet. Hand block printed and hand quilted in Jaipur in two limited edition colours: powder blue and peachy pink. At a time of year when summer's bountiful flowers and fruits feel a distant memory, this transforms a room. Soft, weighty, warm and such a joy to wake up to.
Their first destination had to be Samiti One in bedrooms I designed and spent over 100 hours painting by hand. Finished with details like hand-pleated lampshades and ruffled blinds made in my latest fabrics, as well as a gallery wall of miniature art, they could not feel more at home.

A hand block-printed and hand-stitched quilt in soft blues, greens and lilac. Rosanna painted the original design of strawberries gathered in a bouquet of roses before it was traced, carved into teak wood and block printed by artisans in Jaipur. Fully reversible, the quilt features the Roses & Berries print in pale blue on the reverse. Whichever way it is turned, it brings joy to the bedroom — and warmth too.
Finished with a blue edge and contrast piping.
