Spring's new print - Rose Orchard makes its spring debut at Samode Haveli, a setting whose layered palette and quiet elegance feel entirely in step with the print. The 225-year-old heritage hotel has always been a haven for me, and for many, in the heart of Jaipur's Old City.
As spring’s first blooms bring hope and colour, these table linens feel like the season gently unfolding. Pale aqua and sage are echoed in the palette of the arched veranda just off the first courtyard of this 18th-century haveli. The hotel may be centrally located, but its courtyards and gardens are serenity itself – birdsong, fountains and the call to prayer forming the only soundtrack.
Playing with the blues and greens of the linens and interiors feels like the most natural way to dress this table: white roses and bougainvillea arranged in sculptural height, tumbling piles of green fruit next to the hotel’s potted plants and a final pop of blue in the water tumblers.
Shop the look
My perfect way to welcome spring – whimsical florals, gentle colour and a table that sets the mood. That’s exactly what a tablescape is for me: creating a scene that brings joy to your guests.
