The Dorchester Breakfast

The Dorchester Breakfast

A table inspired by the Dorchester's Penthouse & Pavilion suite and spring's first buds, commissioned to celebrate the partnership of FashMash and Klaviyo over a networking breakfast of leading members.
Breakfast at The Dorchester Pavilion Suite

This unique space at London's iconic Dorchester hotel was designed by theatrical set designer Oliver Messel in the 1920s. It is in fact four rooms complete with a roof terrace and fountain.

The decor inspired the colour palette for the tablescape: delicious shades of apple, sage and pear green with pops of lemon yellow and gold like in the hand-painted murals.

Breakfast at The Dorchester Pavilion Suite spring florals

Held in late February, the first signs of spring were showing in British flowers. My heroes were white and yellow Icelandic poppies with plump-petalled Hanoi ranunculus as side character. I added hyacinth and lilac for scent⁣. Finally blossom, astrantia, parrot tulips, guelder rose and hellebore (winter belles so they last well) as fillers and foliage.
